ای تو غمگین

چراغ دریایی

برج زیبا

اسیر تنهایی

تو که بخشیده ای به نور نگاه

روشنی

آبهای دریا را

پهن کردی

 به سطح سینه ی موج

گردن آویز های زیبا را

تن دریا

ز شرم چشمانت

سر فرو برده

زیر چادر موج

با پر عشق

مرغ دریایی

پر زده

عاشقانه رفته به اوج

نازنین

ای چراغ دریایی

تک و تنها

 میان ظلمت شب

دل دریا

تپید از نگهت

سرخ شد

 رنگ آسمان از تب

that magnified necklaces and statues in the sea,

calcareous eye, insignia of the vast waters, cry

Of the mourning petrel, tooth of the sea, wife

Of the Oceanian wind, O separate rose 

From the long stem of the trampled bush

That the depths, converted into archipelago,

O natural star, green diadem,

alone in your lonesome dynasty,

still unattainable, elusive, desolate

like one drop, like one grape, like the sea
